Together the four of them reflect on the legacy of Tim Burton’s Batman on Hard N.O.C. Life.

Topics covered on the show include:

  • The panel reminisces about June 23, 1989
  • Whether Batman 89 still holds up 25 years later
  • Everyone’s excitement for Michael Keaton in Birdman
  • Why Nicholson’s Joker is overrated
  • Danny Elfman’s iconic score vs. Hans Zimmer’s pounding one
  • Whether it’s blasphemous to claim Batman as Prince’s best album

  1. Great discussion! But I think Danny Elfman did a great score for Spider-Man. It captures the sensation of swinging from building to building and spider crawling.

I love the Tim Burton Batman film just for its unique take. I agree that the Joker stole the film but overall it was one of the more fun, strong Batman films.

  2. I think the two Tim burton movies were better than the three Nolan Movies…..the best being Batman Returns.
