A few weeks back, we mentioned that cartoonist MariNaomi was in the midst of creating a database of cartoonists of color. As of today, that database has not only been created, but it’s now live and available here!

As you can see, there are over 700 names already listed but still some holes left to fill, but props to Mari for taking on such a laborious — but necessary — task!

In fact, if you have further info about the artists listed (or are a  writer/artist of color yourself who wants to get on the list), you can still go to the FAQ to find out the best way to get the database updated.
