  1. Cersei might be a ruthless and vicious you know what but she has leadership skills and takes action, which is more than I can say for feckless Jamie Lannister. What I find remarkable is how FEMINIST GoT has become because it’s all about the women questing for and seizing POWER! Cersei v, Dany! Yep And Sansa and Arya are wise and BADASS! Queen Yara is BADASS!! Brienne of Tarth is BADASS!

    1. If I may add I don’t blame Varys for skipping town he probably saw all of this coming a mile away. Essos looks pretty safe compared to Westeros.

    2. I think the general moral of the story, it’s Game of Thrones everyone plays even the women who are no slouches themselves and have proven to be as devious and bloodthirsty as the men. Bravo!

  5. That last tweet does bring back a question. Where exactly IS Gendry, while we’re letting bastards rule houses and such? At least Rickon got some screen time to close his story up. I’d accept the body washing up on a beach at this point.

    Or Melisandre finding him and continuing her push for a Baratheon to be on the throne.

  6. I always wondered what happened to Gendry, too….So Benjen is a zombie? His skin does look DEAD. Also–did Arya kill that olive-skinned servant girl to get the drop on Walder Frey? She has to to get her face/off. Too bad. It’s so rare that you see people of colour on the show and then they get offed like that to advance a story.

    1. It’s possible that Arya was able to get a face off of the Wall (i.e. where the Waif’s ended up) and kept it for her trip to kill Walder Frey; remember that the Faceless Man presenting as Jaqen H’ghar did a face change in ‘his’ last appearance before Season 5. (One interpretation of said faces has been “if you don’t mind us keeping your corpse for your face afterward, go right ahead and receive ‘the gift’ from our pool.”)

      Based on what I remember of Benjen’s explanation back in the sixth episode, he makes me think of a magical version of what happened with the Mountain, albeit counting as dead for the purposes of the Wall’s warding spells… though it was either get stuck beyond the Wall or end up a wight like the two rangers who’d accompanied him in Season 1.
