Rouge One is the biggest movie on the planet, and we finally devote a whole show to talk about the most diverse (or is it?) Star Wars ever filmed.   2. It was creepy to see Peter Cushing in Rogue One, knowing that he’s dead and he’s been dead for a long ti?me now. Obviously permission from his estate was granted to achieve this and wonder if he was already compensated for the use of his likeness pre-death or post- in which case, his estate collected?

    Wouldn’t it have been cool to see Sir Alec Guiness again in that regard as (Ben) Obi Wan-Kenobi

    Obviously the Star Wars franchise FEARS Women of Color for some odd reason.

    1. Seems to me the women protagonists have a certain look, brown hair and brown eyes with the exception of Jyn who has brown hair and green eyes. WoC are sorely lacking in Star Wars, a wish of mine would be to see Ming Na as a secret Jedi who became one of Luke’s first Padawans.

      Oh yeah Peter Cushing has been dead for nearly 23 years…at some point I figure our technology will be indistinguishable from magic. I think he must have granted permission for his likeness to be used my guess the prequel movies were years in the making before 1999.

  3. Hollywood doesn’t have a diversity problem it’s got an allergy problem to person’s of dark skintone. They allow only 1 or 2 actors of color a year to be celebrated. They celebrate actors from around ths world as long as their fair in skintone. It appears caucasian actors get to just show up i.e. james franco and make movie after movie but actors of color only get celebrated and awarded when its about slavery, drug lifestyle /crime. Hollywood pretends to be inclusive. My family has never been represented in a movie so I don’t give them my money
