Waiting for the Into the Badlands Finale

The second season of AMC’s Into the Badlands concludes on Sunday, so our intrepid live tweeter Laura Sirikul joins Keith to look back on one of our favorite shows! Of course, they can’t help juxtaposing Ballands and Iron Fist, but they also explain Daniel Wu’s previous comments about whitewashing and why Oliver Stark needs to be a guest on a future episode. They also share their predictions about the finale and how Keith decided to mashup Badlands and Hamilton for #IntoTheHamLands.

All this and more on Hard NOC Life! Watch it on your screen, hit “play,” and check this.

  1. Great Job! Yeah! Iron Fist was not that good at all. The fight scenes in Iron Fist was just plan awful. I will not watch Iron Fist again. I’m so done with that. I hope U do Into The Badlands fan panel at Comic Con. I don’t want that Chris guy. But I hope the cast can go to Comic Con this year. Awesome Job!

  2. I disagree about the Tilda-Widow fight scene. I understood immediately that The Widow was punishing Tilda for not being her previously blindly/unquestioningly loyal regent and daughter. This was a mother punishing her daughter for growing up and questioning her mother’s perspective and motives. This is what she meant by Tilda being different. She was saying that she’d noticed that other people had Tilda’s loyalty, now (M.K., Veil).

This scene has probably played out in many a household – without the Kung Fu. 🙂
