NOC Interview: Sara Tomko of SYFY’s ‘Resident Alien’ Talks the Dark Horse Comic TV Adaptation

SYFY’s Resident Alien premiered earlier this year to rave reviews. The Dark Horse comic adaptation of the series (of the same name) follows the goings on of a stranded alien (played by Alan Tudyk) as he tries to navigate the small-town of Patience, Colorado after assuming the identity of the town doctor.

Sara Tomko plays Asta, a self described outsider, who quickly builds a connection to Harry Vanderspeigle (Tydk) as she too navigates the oftentimes frustrating experiences that lend to her feelings of isolation. I had the immense pleasure of sitting down with Tomko to talk her character, the series, and the many ways this show resonates with her and her fellow castmates.
