DC’s ‘Titans’ Season 3 Teaser Reveals Threats in Gotham City

HBO Max has just released a first look into season three of the popular superhero series Titans, which premieres on Thursday, August 12.

Based on the comic series and team of the same name, Titans follows Dick Grayson (Brenton Thwaites) aka Nightwing and his team of superheroes from across the DC Universe as they figure out their place in the world of crime fighting. This season has our heroes traveling to Gotham City, where they will reunite with old friends and face new (and old) threats.

Thwaites is joined by Anna Diop as Kory Anders aka Starfire, Teagan Croft as Rachel Roth aka Raven, Ryan Potter as Gar Logan aka Beast Boy, Conor Leslie as Donna Troy aka Wonder Girl, Curran Walters as Jason Todd aka Red Hood, Joshua Orpin as Conner Kent aka Superboy, with Alan Ritchson as Hank Hall aka Hawk, Minka Kelly as Dawn Granger aka Dove, Damaris Lewis as Blackfire, Savannah Welch as Barbara Gordon, and Vincent Kartheiser as Dr. Jonathan Crane. Jay Lycurgo also joins the cast this season recurring as Tim Drake.

In the teaser, we get a glimpse of Gotham City and the origin story of Red Hood aka Jason Todd’s interaction with the infamous Joker and the crowbar that many fans can recognize from the comic books. We then get images of the team and the new folks — Barbara Gordon and Dr. Crane aka Scarecrow. The trailer is coming soon, so we may get more in depth information of what to expect this season.

Also, on September 14, DC’s Titans United will debut with a seven-issue limited comic book series, featuring the incredible line-up of super heroes fans know from the Max Original. The series will be available at all participating comic book stores and digital platforms, and is free to subscribers on DC Universe Infinite.

The first three episodes of the season will premiere on Thursday, August 12 with subsequent episodes launching weekly every Thursday through October 21.
