Jacob Hopkins talks ‘To Your Eternity’

Yo! Yo! Yo! It’s Kuya P back again with another interview for my friends here at the NOC! I recently sat down for a conversation with Actor, Jacob Hopkins to discuss his latest project on CrunchyRoll & HBO Max, To Your Eternity! Check out our conversation and then head over to CrunchyRoll or HBO Max to check out To Your Eternity streaming now!

Actor, Jacob Hopkins!

Hopkins is best known for his starring role as the voice of Gumball in Cartoon Network’s hit animated series The Amazing World of Gumball. Jacob currently lends his voice to the lead character Fushi, an immortal being who takes on the form of a deceased nameless boy, in the anime series To Your Eternity. The show is based on the Japanese manga series of the same name, which won the 43rd Kodansha Manga Award for Best Shonen Manga and was also named one of 2019’s Great Graphic Novels for Teens by The Young Adult Library Services Association. Directed by Masahiko Murata (Tower of God, Naruto), To Your Eternity explores what it means to be human and chronicles Fushi’s growth as a “person.” It is airing now on HBO Max and Crunchyroll! Jacob also voices Axel Finke in Dreamworks Animation’s Dragons: Rescue Riders alongside Marsai Martin and Skai Jackson streaming now on Netflix.

In addition to voiceover, Jacob has an extensive list of on-camera roles both in television and film. He’s had a long-running role on ABC’s hit comedy The Goldbergs. Jacob plays Chad Kremp, who is the good-looking, cool and preppy kid on the surface, but a geek at heart. Jacob’s character is best friends with Adam Goldberg (Sean Giambrone) as they share a love for all things geeky. Things aren’t slowing down for Jacob, he will next star as Zack in the upcoming indie film Carolina’s Calling alongside Antonio Sabato Jr., Stacey Dash and Savanah Moss.
