In his new film Bullet Train, based on the popular Japanese novel Maria Beetle by Kōtarō Isaka, Brad Pitt plays Ladybug, an “unlucky” assassin who is assigned to steal a briefcase from other assassins while on a speeding bullet train in Japan.

Aaron Taylor-Johnson brought one of Marvel’s fastest superheroes to life in 2015’s Avengers: Age of Ultron. We all know how that ended, but though his time with the character was short-lived, Johnson’s take amassed a fanbase that arguably rivals his Kick Ass co-star Evan Peters’ version from the X-Men films.

A quick introduction: I enjoyed Godzilla. A lot. I wanted spectacle; it delivered. In the end, whatever MUTO-sized plot holes or character shortcomings weren’t that big of a deal in terms of my enjoyment. But I found so much of the film completely inexplicable on some very basic logic levels that I wanted to have fun with those. So I invited friends to join in with their “huh?” moments from a film that we all agreed was quite fun. If it helps, imagine hearing this being read by the Red Letter Media guys.
