A100 List Honoree Poorna Jagannathan on the Impact of ‘Never Have I Ever’

Poorna Jagannathan is an honoree of Gold House’s 2022 A100 List, which recognizes the 100 APIs that have most significantly impacted American culture and society in the last year. Gold House Has Shared the 2022 A100 List and will Launch the First-Ever Gold Gala

Netflix Announces Inaugural Cohort of the Future Gold Film Fellowship

Netflix’s Fund for Creative Equity Initiative have announced their inaugural cohort of the Future Gold Film Fellowship. Netflix Golden, the company’s newest social media channel for the pan-Asian diaspora, shared the news earlier today.

Working with Gold House and Tribeca, Netflix created a program designed to elevate three Asian and Pacific Islander directors. This year, Lloyd Lee Choi, Erin Lau, and Derek Nguyen were selected for the fellowship.

Gold House and CAPE Unveil the 2022 Gold List in Time for Awards Season

It’s officially Awards Season in Hollywood, and Gold House and CAPE (Coalition of Asian Pacifics in Entertainment) are launching the 2022 Gold List to highlight outstanding work by Asian filmmakers and talent. Think of the Gold List as an elaborate “For Your Consideration” campaign to get the Academy to recognize some of the amazing work by Asian and Asian American directors, writers, and actors in 2021.

Gold House and CAPE’s #OneOpen Initiative Kicks Off with ‘Eternals’

True story. When I was growing up there was nothing else I loved more than going to the movies. Anytime my mom or dad would take me to the theater, it was like Christmas. I sat through the Home Alone‘s, the Mrs. Doubtfire‘s, the Disney movies, etc. My time with them, and the big screen, was what ultimately drove the passion I have for this industry. Movies have and always will mean the world to me. And that’s why I’ve made it my goal to do whatever I can to make even the smallest impact on this industry I care about so much.

Gold House Announces Annual A100 List of Influential Asians in American Culture

Just in time for AAPI Heritage Month, a collective of AAPI creatives and leaders, including  Bing Chen who I interviewed on the Southern Fried Asian podcast last year, known as Gold House have announced their second ever list of influential Asian and Asian American talent.
