NBC Announces Four New Series Coming to Peacock

In today’s NBC Universal TCA presentation, NBC announced four new series coming to Peacock. The new straight-to-series projects include a limited series on serial killer John Wayne Gacy, a suburban limited series thriller, an espionage techno-thriller series by James Wan and Simu Liu, and a mockumentary starring NBA legend Stephen Curry.

‘Quantum Leap’ Showrunners Talk Hannah’s Return and Their Love for Fan Theories

Quantum Leap was one of the few series that was able to complete their entire season before both the Writers’ and Actors’ strikes. Since the series was renewed early on, showrunners Martin Gero and Dean Georgaris and their team were quick to write up the next season.

Taking the Leap with ‘Quantum Leap’ Star Raymond Lee

Are you ready to take the next leap forward? Quantum Leap was a terrifically fun sci-fi show on NBC that ran from 1989 to 1993. It chronicled the journey of Dr. Sam Beckett, a man stuck in time after an experiment gone home, who would “leap” all over the annals of history solving problems, and hoping that his next leap would bring him home to the present.

NBC’s ‘Grand Crew’ Doesn’t Want to be Compared to Other Shows

Every so often, when a new series is introduced, it is immediately compared to what people may consider to be the most related to that. This rings especially true for new sitcoms and comedies starring people of color. When NBC’s Grand Crew was first announced as a series surrounding the lives of a group of Black friends at a wine bar, there were so many comparisons to HBO’s Insecure and ABC’s Black-ish that it straight away was labeled as a “Black” show.

Peacock Has Shared the Official Trailer for ‘The Girl In The Woods’

The Girl In The Woods is a supernatural YA drama about a mysterious door in the woods that leads to a terrifying monster dimension. The cast includes Stefanie Scott (Carrie), Misha Osherovich (Nolan), Sofia Bryant (Tasha), Will Yun Lee (Arthur Dean), Kylie Liya Page (Sara), Reed Diamond (Hosea), and Leonard Roberts (Khalil). All eight episodes of the new Peacock Original will drop on Thursday, October 21.

New SYFY Series ‘Astrid and Lilly Save the World’ Stars Jana Morrison and Samantha Aucoin

Today, Universal just announced that they are moving forward with a new SYFY series called Astrid and Lilly Save the World.

To star in the show, SYFY has tapped two rising stars, Filipina Canadian actress Jana Morrison will play Astrid, and coming with her for the ride is fellow Canadian singer/songwriter/actress Samantha Aucoin.

Tamara Taylor and Danielle Moné Truitt Preview the ‘Law & Order: Organized Crime’ Season Finale

Law & Order: Organized Crime airs Thursday nights on NBC, and will be returning with a new season in Fall 2021. I got the chance to speak with Tamara Taylor and Danielle Moné Truitt, who both star in the new series, and ask them all my Organized Crime questions! The show premiered back in April and has already done some amazing crossovers with Law & Order: SVU. The season finale, titled, “Forget it, Jake; It’s Chinatown,” will premiere on June 3 at 10 PM ET.
