After playing well over 300 matches of Halo Infinite’s multiplayer through my Christmas break, a Covid scare followed by an actual Covid infection, and a 10 day isolation period has left me with a feeling of nostalgia. First Look Trailer for ‘Halo the Series’ Promises a New Beginning

The more I see of this, the more excited I get, and the more surreal it feels. I can’t believe after all this time, we’re finally getting a live-action Halo project. And from the looks of it, Paramount and executive producer Steven Spielberg (as if to channel John Hammond from Jurassic Park) have clearly spared no expense!

New Teaser for the ‘Halo’ Live Action Series Debuts

It’s been stuck in development hell for years, but we are finally getting a live action Halo adaptation! While this was a project that has been trying to get off the ground, and passing through the high profile eyes of directors like Peter Jackson, Guillermo Del Toro, Alex Garland, and Neill Blomkamp, it is finally seeing the light of day in 2022 thanks to executive producer Steven Spielberg.

‘Halo Infinite Multiplayer’ and Other Surprises at XBox’s 20th Anniversary Stream

Xbox graced us along with 343 Studios and the rest of Microsoft with some surprise announcements at Xbox’s 20th anniversary special. The special itself was a simple enough stream that was quick to the point with its nostalgia bombs of the history of the console with a few surprises of what Microsoft’s immediate future plans are.

Rockstar Games Shows Off ‘GTA Trilogy’ Enhancements

Earlier this month, Rockstar Games announced that Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy – The Definitive Edition was dropping on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and the Rockstar Games Launcher. The long awaited remastered collection of some of Grand Theft Auto‘s most iconic titles is finally within reach, and today Rockstar Games shared more details about the trilogy coming November 11.

‘Call of Duty: Vanguard’ Drops First Look at Zombies Mode from Treyarch Studios

There can’t be a Call of Duty release without the inclusion of their flagship Zombies mode, and today new details were finally revealed. From the first introduction back in Call of Duty: World at War in 2009, to the latest version by Treyarch Studios (in partnership with Sledgehammer Games) in Vanguard, players have been exposed to all manner of gameplay features that focused on staving off hordes of zombies. Today, Activision showcased a first look at the new mode coming to their latest title November 5, which features a franchise-first crossover with the studio whose legacy goes back to the mode’s humble beginnings.

DevTalks: Hunter Young, 3D Environment Artist on ‘Halo Infinite’

Ahead of this week’s Halo Infinite Flight, the beta testing period that pits players against one another (or against bots for the first time in Halo), The Nerds of Color got to catch up with one of 343 Industries’ 3D artists to talk shop — but mostly to gush over how incredible the game looks and feels. Hunter Young had a lot of jitters leading up to the reveal of Halo Infinite‘s multiplayer mode this past summer, but when the hype calmed down and the dust settled, he felt even prouder to be part of the team ushering in a new era of Halo.
