NOC Interview: Kevin Daniels Discusses FOX’s ‘The Big Leap’

Kevin Daniels portrays Wayne Fontaine in the new FOX dramedy The Big Leap. The series is an innovative show-within-a-show that takes viewers on a journey of self-acceptance and empowerment at any age. The Big Leap premieres on Monday, September 20 at 9/8c.

THE BIG LEAP is a modern tale about second chances, chasing your dreams and taking back what’s yours. The show revolves around a group of diverse, down-on-their-luck characters attempting to change their lives by participating in a potentially life-ruining reality dance show that builds to a live production of “Swan Lake.”

Daniels made his Broadway debut in Shakespeare’s Twelfth Night. In 2012, he played the lead role of Magic Johnson in Broadway’s Magic/Bird.

The actor starred in two seasons of USA Network’s comedy series, Sirens. Daniels also had a recurring role on ABC’s critically acclaimed Modern Family, where he played Longinus. Some of his other television work includes appearing on Atypical, The Orville, Why Women Kill, Coop & Cami Ask the World, and Council of Dads.

Notable film credits include The Island, Raze, Ladder 49, The Watcher, as well as A Typical Wednesday.
