The CW just released this brand new teaser trailer for the debut of DC’s latest superhero on the small screen, Naomi! Not only does it give viewers a closer look at the world inhabited by Kaci Wallfall’s title character, the teaser is also introduced by executive producer Ava DuVernay!

Premiering on January 11 on The CW, Naomi tells the story of a cool, confident, comic book–loving teenager as she pursues her hidden destiny. Naomi is based on the character and comic created by Brian Michael Bendis, David F. Walker, and Jamal Campbell.
