There’s another Tan to be weary of this season of Kung Fu.

If Kerwin Tan’s (Ludi Lin) relationship with his father Russell Tan (Kee Chan) was any indication of a problematic family, wait until you meet the doting daughter of the elusive crime boss.

Juliet Tan (played by Annie Q in a recurring role) will be introduced in episode two ‘Year of the Tiger: Part 2’ of the new season. Juliet is described as an adversary who “Nicky and the gang will be going up against this season.”

Last season, Kerwin mentioned his relationship with his sister has always been a competitive one as they both vied for their father’s attention. But, it looks like Juliet is now the ‘golden child’ in the Tan empire since Kerwin betrayed his father by stealing the mystical weapons for Zhilan (Yvonne Chapman), who, in turn, then attempted to murder her lover. Although Kerwin is saved by his father, Russell’s intentions may not be that of familial reasons.

The Nerds of Color were sent exclusive photos of Juliet Tan from the second episode. From the way she glares at her brother – who is now awake from his coma — in the two images, Juliet may not be looking forward to Kerwin’s return in the Tan family.

Unfortunately, not much is known about Juliet or her intentions. I guess we’ll have to see what she has up her sleeve. If she’s anything like her father, it’s definitely not good.
