Michael Uslan Returns to Share His Journey Bringing Batman to the Big Screen

Every four years, we like to check in with Batman mega-producer Michael Uslan. Back in 2014, we did a two-part interview about the 25th anniversary of Tim Burton’s Batman 89 and the legacy of Christopher Nolan’s Dark Knight trilogy. Four years later, he and I recorded a podcast over lunch during San Diego Comic-Con. Now, on the heels of yet another genre-defining blockbuster, Uslan is back to share his story with the NOC.

Moreover, Uslan has released a follow-up to his bestselling memoir, The Boy Who Loved Batman, with another memoir detailing his adventures in Hollywood. Part memoir, part how-to guide, Batman’s Batman not only chronicles Uslan’s path through Hollywood, it also serves as a primer on how to follow your passion and become one of the industry’s most successful producers.
