Coming off the heels of Mission: Impossible — Fallout, the franchise’s biggest hit yet, Cruise and team are returning for an adventure so big, it needs to be split into two movies. This time the cast is expanding beyond just Cruise, and mainstays Rebecca Ferguson, Simon Pegg, and Ving Rhames. They’re bringing back Vanessa Kirby, Henry Czerny (Kitridge from the original 1996 film that started the franchise) and recruiting Captain Carter herself, Hayley Atwell as a character named Grace.
As you can see from the insane, death defying stunts in the trailer, director Christopher McQuarrie and Cruise have put in a ton of work into making sure this will be the most action-packed, insane installment yet. And personally for me, this just shot up to the top of my most anticipated films list of 2023. Check it out for yourself:
