Next week, Warner Bros. Animation is bringing their iconic Looney Tunes characters to a preschool audience with Cartoonito’s Bugs Bunny Builders. We were fortunate enough to speak with the talented voices behind the iconic Bunnys — Bugs and Lola — as they discuss their new show.
Eric Bauza voices Bugs Bunny, along with Tweety and Daffy, while Chandni Parekh is making her Looney Tunes debut voicing Lola Bunny. Parekh will also be voicing Harley Quinn in the upcoming Batwheels series, also aimed at preschoolers. I spoke to both actors about modulating their performances for a preschool audience and which DC and Looney Tunes characters they’d mash up since Chandni is a walking DC/Looney Tunes mashup!
Bugs Bunny Builders premieres Monday, July 25 at 8am on Cartoonito on Cartoon Network and will stream the next day on HBO Max’s Cartoonito hub.
