A very cool series is coming to Prime Video! And even though it may not be affiliated with Lord of the Rings or The Boys, I think this one has the potential to be one heck of a shocking surprise! Called The Power, it’s based on on the New York Times best-selling novel by Naomi Alderman, and we’ve got your first look right here!
The first indicator that the platform may have something special is that they’re teaming up with production studio, SISTER, for this thrilling series. SISTER is the studio behind HBO’s epic mini-series Chernobyl, and is also known for some seriously quality favorites, such as the acclaimed hits Gangs of London and This is Going to Hurt. Their latest series, The Power centers on an event that gives select teenage girls electrokinesis, which in turn, shifts the dynamics of political power across the globe!

The Power features Oscar nominee Toni Collette, John Leguizamo, Auli’i Cravalho, Ted Lasso’s Toheeb Jimoh (Sam), and a talented ensemble of terrific actors.
