It’s finally here! How I Met Your Father returns tonight with episode 12 “Not A Mamma Mia,” and we have an exclusive clip from the episode to share!
After the midseason break, with a legen… wait for it… dary cameo by How I Met Your Mother‘s Barney Stinson (Neil Patrick Harris), Sophie (Hilary Duff) is now determined to find her father — or, according to Barney, her ‘daddy’ — her REAL daddy. She recruits the gang to help narrow down the search. Val (Francia Raisa) does her best to help, but she has her own problems to deal with — her young (and accidental) fiancé (Michael Cimino).
How I Met Your Father airs weekly, every Tuesday until the season finale on July 11 on Hulu.

How I Met Your Father follows a similar premise to How I Met Your Mother with older adult Sophie (Kim Cattrall) telling her son the story of how she met his father. It flashes back to present day Sophie in her early thirties figuring out her career, friendships, and love. The cast also includes Christopher Lowell, Francia Raisa, Tom Ainsley, Tien Tran, and Suraj Sharma.
