It’s halfway through Pride Month, and the official trailer for Nimona is out. The highly anticipated adaptation of ND Stevenson’s queer-centered 2015 graphic novel of the same name gives a more in-depth look at what the audience can expect.
The titular character (voiced by Chloë Grace Moretz) shows off her shapeshifting skills, much to the surprise and eventual annoyance of her pushover boss, Ballister Boldheart.
We also finally get a good look at this anti-hero. Voiced by Riz Ahmed, Boldheart ventures on a mission to clear his name for a crime he did not commit, much to the unease of his former flame, Ambrosius Goldenloin (voiced by Eugene Lee Yang), and with a little help from Nimona along the way.
Nimona looks fun and chaotic in the best possible ways, and it will soon be available for all to see when it drops on Netflix on June 30.
