Nearly three years to the day of its streaming debut, Disney+ will be releasing a special “Sing-Along” version of the filmed production of the award-winning Broadway phenomenon, Hamilton.
Originally premiering on July 3, 2020, the Hamilton film — which was initially intended for a theatrical release — was sent to streaming at the height of the pandemic since everyone was stuck in lockdown, turning your living room into the “Room Where it Happens.”
Now, you can get your karaoke on one last time and join the Original Broadway Cast in belting out classics like “Helpless,” “You’ll Be Back,” and “Non-Stop.”
The 11-time-Tony Award®-, GRAMMY Award®-, Olivier Award- and Pulitzer Prize-winning stage musical stars: Daveed Diggs as Marquis de Lafayette/Thomas Jefferson; Renée Elise Goldsberry as Angelica Schuyler; Jonathan Groff as King George; Christopher Jackson as George Washington; Jasmine Cephas Jones as Peggy Schuyler/Maria Reynolds; Lin-Manuel Miranda as Alexander Hamilton; Leslie Odom, Jr. as Aaron Burr; Okieriete Onaodowan as Hercules Mulligan/James Madison; Anthony Ramos as John Laurens/Philip Hamilton; and Phillipa Soo as Eliza Hamilton.
The cast also includes Carleigh Bettiol, Oscar-winner Ariana DeBose, Hope Easterbrook, Sydney James Harcourt, Sasha Hutchings, Thayne Jasperson, Elizabeth Judd, Jon Rua, Austin Smith, Seth Stewart, and Ephraim Sykes.
Hamilton: Sing-Along will be released on Disney+ on Friday, June 30.
