‘Barbie’ Star Ryan Gosling Offers BTS’ Jimin a Gift

It’s no surprise that BTS ARMY, the fandom name for the global superstars BTS, noticed Ryan Gosling, as Ken from the new Barbie movie, wearing an outfit very similar to Jimin’s Permission to Dance outfit.

ARMY began flooding social media about the the cowboy-inspired top, made by H Bar C Shop, worn by the two stars.

Gosling heard about the comparisons and took to social media to directly address Jimin. In the video posted on WB’s socials, Gosling tells Jimin, “I have to give it to you. You wore it first and, definitely, wore it best.”

He then offers Jimin, according to the “Ken Code,” his most prized possession — Ken’s guitar.

Jimin is no stranger to Barbie. In 2019, Mattel released official dolls of BTS dressed in their iconic IDOL outfits from the music video. Jimin recently released his album FACE and is currently the brand ambassador to Dior and Tiffany & Co.

As of today, Jimin has not responded to the video or gift.

Barbie releases this week on July 21.
