Marvel is ringing in the holiday season with a trip through the multiverse. The studio has released the official trailer for Season 2 of What If…?, which is slated to premiere on Disney+ on December 22.
Per Disney, this season “continues the journey as The Watcher guides viewers through the vast multiverse, introducing brand new and familiar faces throughout the MCU. The series questions, revisits and twists classic Marvel Cinematic moments.”
Season 2 will feature beloved characters like Nebula, Hela, and Happy Hogan. Jeffrey Wright is set to reprise his role as The Watcher, the series narrator, along with a host of other MCU stars. Episodes are directed by executive producer Bryan Andrews. Head writer AC Bradley also serves as executive producer.
The season will consist of nine episodes, released daily through December 30. The series is part of Phase Five of the MCU.
