Jess and Bill Walker are doing their best to keep their family connected as their children grow older, more independent, and more distant. When a chance encounter with an astrological reader causes the family to wake up to a full body switch, on the morning of the most important day of each of their lives, can the Walkers unite to land a promotion, college interview, record deal and soccer tryout?

“I just have very fond memories of the family sitting down in between sort of Thanksgiving, Christmas, and the holidays in general and trying to figure out, what can we all watch that will be enjoyable,” McG expressed. “For me, it’s The Sound of Music, it’s Big, it’s Home Alone, it’s Elf and we wanted to make a film that contributes to those wonderful top-of-the-shelf films. And hopefully, we did it with this one.”

We had a fun discussion about making a film that the whole family can enjoy together, which member of his own family he would want to switch lives with, which sequence was his favorite to shoot, and more.
