The future can be a terrifying thing. Sony Pictures just released the first trailer for its new horror movie, Tarot (previously titled Horrorscope).
The film follows a group of friends who violate a sacred rule of Tarot readings (never use someone else’s deck!), accidentally summoning an “unspeakable evil trapped within the cursed cards” and consequently finding themselves in a race against death.
Tarot stars Harriet Slater (Pennyworth), Avantika (Mean Girls), Jacob Batalon (Spider-Man), Humberly González (Ginny & Georgia), Adain Bradley (The Bold and the Beautiful), Alana Boden (The Invitation), Olwen Fouéré (Texas Chainsaw Massacre), Wolfgang Novogratz (Feel the Beat), and Larsen Thompson (Pearl).
Spencer Cohen (Lazarus Rising) and Anna Halberg (Expend4bles) wrote and directed the film, which is based on the 1992 novel by Nicholas Adams. Scott Glassgold, Elysa Koplovitz Dutton, and Leslie Morgenstein serve as producers. Andrew Pfeffer, Scott Strauss, Cohen and Halberg also executive produce.
