Mei and Ming Lee from ‘Turning Red’ Return for Pixar Fest

Pixar Fest is already in full swing, and Disneyland Resort and Disney California Adventure Park are about to make the party even more memorable with a few new enhancements. From the six Pixar Fest marketplaces officially opening to the return of Meilin and Ming Lee from Turning Red photo experience, guests will have even more reasons to participate in the summer time fun.

Meilin and Ming Lee, the fan-favorite mother-daughter duo from Turning Red, return for a character meet-and-greet through the entirety of Pixar Fest, which ends which ends August 4. The mother and daughter duo will meet guests near Grizzly Peak at Disney California Adventure Park. Use your Disneyland Resort app for more information, including wait times and schedules.

Additionally, hungry guests at Disney California Adventure Park can choose from a selection of six different Pixar-themed marketplaces offering different sweet, savory, and vegan options. There’s the Elemental Table, inspired by Elemental, which offers eats like “smoked fire wood” – BBQ-spiced IMPOSSIBLE chicken with hot mustard sauce, pickles and charred onions

Over at the Hanger Management, guests and satisfy their cheese cravings with two Inside Out-inspired mac-and-cheese dishes that are a joyful yellow comforting mac & cheese with happy cheesy puffs or heat things up with a spicy red mac-and-cheese (if you’re hangry).

The Luca-inspired Portorossa Pasta marketplace offers a sweet the sea monster lemonade and Portorosso pesto pasta, while Gusteau’s To-Go — themed to Ratatouille — serves up food like ratatouille pizzetta and treats like the Gusteau macaron  

Fans of 90s boy bands should grab a bite to eat at the 4*Town Fav*4*ites. Inspired by Turning Red, this market place has selections like the red panda bao — a jumbo pork and vegetable bao served with a chili garlic sauce

Finally, The Spark — themed to Soul, has a chicken and potato waffle with peach cobbler sauce and cinnamon herb crumble.

Pixar Fest runs throughout the summer and ends on August 4, 2024.
