Anime Expo 2024 is starting tomorrow at the Los Angeles Convention Center and we are excited beyond belief to get this party started. This year’s lineup includes exclusive premieres, celebrations, panels, talent appearances and more, along with Industry and Guests of Honor such as Ryōko Kui, the creator of Delicious in Dungeon, mecha visionary Shōji Kawamori, Persona 3/4/5 director Katsura Hashino and Studio Ghibli’s Yoichi Nishikawa.
It’s almost impossible to list off all the events, panels, and good times that we are so excited to check out but in the meantime, here’s a small sample of what’s in store when the convention kicks into high gear tomorrow.

AX CROSSING
Anime Expo is expanding its campus by closing Pico Blvd & Figueroa to provide the ultimate convention experience — “AX Crossing.” Inspired by the iconic Shibuya Crossing, AX Crossing will be filled with live performances, authentic Japanese food and more, making Anime Expo truly feel like the next-best-thing to an in-person visit to Tokyo. Moreover, the closure of these two busy streets will further improve the security of Anime Expo guests, who will no longer have to worry about auto traffic when walking around the LA Live area.
