Anime Expo is in full swing, and in addition to all the manga and anime goodness, Warner Bros. Animation also debuted a new image for The Lord of the Rings: The War of The Rohirrim.
The highly anticipated Holiday release is being helmed by Kenji Kamiyama, director of Blade Runner: Black Lotus and Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex. With a story from Jeffrey Addiss & Will Matthews and Philippa Boyens, the film serves as a bit of a prequel to the original trilogy. It tells the story of the House of Helm Hammerhand, the legendary King of Rohan, and the origins of Helms Deep.
