Blockbuster directors don’t come much bigger than Roland Emmerich. The Independence Day director has made a career out of bombastic action sequences and historical epics. And now, he’s putting his stamp on Peacock, with the epic historical Ancient Roman gladiator series, Those About to Die.
Earlier this week, we had the opportunity to share with you our interviews with the large ensemble of the series. Well today, we’re proud to share with you our conversation with the man, myth, and legend himself! We were able to discuss with him the challenges of bringing Ancient Rome to life and his experience with epics of this scale.
