On the Disney 2024 Upfront Red Carpet, I got to reunite with Percy Jackson and the Olympians stars Walker Scobell, Leah Sava’ Jeffries, and Aryan Simhadri! The Disney+ show, which is based on the book series by Rick Riordan, has been renewed for a second season.
“Everyone almost in the entire world was super happy about it [the series] and I’m so proud of you guys [Walker and Aryan], Dior, and Charlie. It just came out amazing, so I’m super happy that they loved it so much and we can make a season two,” Jeffries (Annabeth) expressed to me.
“Honestly, I feel like… I really like the reactions to [the] Luke betrayal ‘cause I mean, nobody was expecting the fight,” Scobell (Percy) shared, reflecting on the finale. “I think it worked out perfectly and I really liked seeing all those betrayal edits, it made me sad.”
To conclude, Simhadri (Grover) had a clear message for the fans, saying, “Thank you guys for the overwhelming love. Percy Jackson has the best fan base.”
