It’s time to smile again, folks! Parker Finn is back with a follow up to his immensely popular and terrifying horror film, Smile 2. This time, the action is going to be centering around a Taylor Swift-like pop star named Skye Riley, played by the amazingly talented Naomi Scott. Today, we got a horrifying new trailer and poster for the upcoming October release.
Smile was an unexpected hit back in 2022. It was a movie that literally wasn’t on anyone’s radars, but the effective scares and general creepiness of the film catapulted it to over $100M at the domestic box office on an incredibly small budget. So it was just a matter of time before Finn would add to the mythology of his terrifying story with another chapter.

By the looks of it, the newest film seeks to expand a bit more on the history of the evil force from the first movie, and potentially might offer a way to combat it — as long as Scott’s character survives. Oh boy.
