Star Wars Day (a.k.a. May the Fourth) is upon us, and once more, the release of another Tales of… anthology series is coinciding its release on that day. While the first two series focused on the Jedi and the Empire, this one goes off the grid with Tales of the Underworld.
Asajj Ventress and Cad Bane, two of the most iconic villains from The Clone Wars, take center stage in this one. Both dealing with the hurdles of their pasts, they navigate their paths forward in very different ways.
Nika Futterman, who has been voicing Ventress since The Clone Wars, recently spoke with The Nerds of Color about bringing layers to her character, and how this arch of hers continues to show how — despite not seeming like she would — she will go out of her way to protect those in need.
Tales of the Underworld will become available on Disney+ on Sunday, May 4.
