We had the opportunity to have a sit-down with Ironheart composer Dara Taylor to discuss her musical influences, merging her sound with the existing template of Black Panther: Wakanda Forever, and creating the villainous theme for that character.
“It was really great kind of growing through knowing there weren’t limits — unless I came across one,” said Taylor, taking the reins from composer extraordinaire Ludwig Göransson, who scored Riri Williams’ introduction to the world. Taylor was given the freedom to create with little to no restrictions to bring the world of Ironheart to life.
