Nick Offerman and Thaddea Graham star as Jinx and Susie in Margo’s Got Money Troubles. The first three episodes of the series, based on Rufi Thorpe’s bestselling novel, are now streaming on Apple TV. New episodes will be released every Wednesday through May 20.

Margo’s Got Money Troubles” is a bold, heartwarming and comedic family drama following recent college dropout and aspiring writer, Margo (Elle Fanning), the daughter of an ex-Hooters waitress (Michelle Pfeiffer) and ex-pro wrestler (Nick Offerman), as she’s forced to make her way with a new baby, a mounting pile of bills and a dwindling amount of ways to pay them.

“For me, I did a lot of homework. I also got to train with wrestlers, and I love diving in as deeply as I can. But I have to say, if the writing is good, then our job is actually — like, I can imagine if you cast me to take over for somebody tomorrow and say, ‘I’m crazy about space travel,’ all I have to do is convince you that I feel that way without knowing the first thing about rocketships,” Offerman explained while reflecting on Jinx’s passion for wrestling. “I became a huge fan of wrestling.”

As for Graham, whose character loves to cosplay, she shared, “[With] the cosplay world, there is such a dedication when you’re not getting paid to do it. You’re not getting told to do it, you’re doing it because you love it, and because you come home from work or whatever, you scroll away and you do it. At the end is this incredible product that you might get to go to conventions and share with people, and that world, I think, is so open, so kind, and non-judgmental. I think it’s often judged, but I think there’s a lot of love there.”
