Here’s some of the new choices to binge on Paramount+ this June:
THE GOOD FIGHT: An enormous financial scam has destroyed the reputation of a young lawyer, Maia Rindell, while simultaneously wiping out her mentor and godmother Diane Lockhart’s savings. Forced out of Lockhart & Lee, they join Lucca Quinn at one of Chicago’s pre-eminent law firms. The Good Fight stars Delroy Lindo, Christine Baranski, Audra McDonald, Michael Boatman, and Cush Jumbo.
In Season 5, Christine Baranski’s Diane “is forced to question whether it’s appropriate for her to help run an African American law firm” with Audra McDonald’s Liz in the wake of Adrian and Lucca’s resignations, per the official logline. Meanwhile, Sarah Steele’s Marissa and the firm “become entangled with” Hal Wackner (new series regular Mandy Patinkin), a veteran “Chicagoan who decides to open his own courtroom in the back of a copy shop.” Season 5 premieres on Thursday, June 24th, exclusively on Paramount+.
THE EQUALIZER: Robyn McCall, an enigmatic woman with a mysterious background, uses her extensive skills to help those with nowhere else to turn. McCall comes across to most as an average single mom who is quietly raising her teenage daughter. But to a trusted few, she is “The Equalizer” — an anonymous guardian angel and defender of the downtrodden, who’s also dogged in her pursuit of personal redemption. The Equalizer stars Queen Latifah, Tory Kittles, and Adam Goldberg. The Equalizer has been renewed for Season 2.
REAL HUSBANDS OF HOLLYWOOD: A comedy series created and co-produced by Chris Spencer and comedian Kevin Hart and stars Hollywood titans Kevin Hart, Nick Cannon, Boris Kodjoe, Duane Martin, J.B. Smoove, and Nelly.
