Breaking News from an hour ago! The title for the next Aquaman movie has been revealed per director James Wan’s Instagram.
Behold: Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom! Coming to theaters December 2022!
The film will see the return of Jason Mamoa, Amber Heard, Patrick Wilson, and Yahya Abdul Mateen II, reprising their roles from the original film — the only DCEU title so far to make over $1B worldwide.
The storyline for the movie is being kept tightly under wraps. But the internet is already buzzing about The Lost Kingdom. There has always been speculation about the Seven Kingdoms of Atlantis since the first movie, but the film, which came out in 2018, only introduced us to six: Atlantis, Xebel, The Brine Kingdom, The Fisherman kingdom, The Trench, The Missing Kingdom (where Arthur and Mera venture to in the Sahara desert). So what will the Seventh Kingdom be? Only time will tell.
