‘Snake Eyes’ Now Available to Own Digitally; Blu-Ray in October

It’s no secret that Snake Eyes holds a special place in my heart. No matter the critical reception of the film, it was always going to be a movie I celebrate. While I would’ve approached the movie differently, I am still holding out hope for a follow-up film so we can see the further adventures of Henry Golding as Snake Eyes, Andrew Koji as Storm Shadow, and the rest of the cast.

Fortunately, we can continue to support the film from the comfort of our own home now that the movie is available to own through your favorite digital retailer. Fans of physical media will have to wait until October. Either way, Paramount Home Video has got some cool stuff for fans who purchase Snake Eyes.

The home release of Snake Eyes on Digital, 4K Ultra HD, and Blu-ray will be packed to the brim with explosive special features that delve into the world of Snake Eyes and the Arashikage clan. Special features will even include an all-new short film exclusive to the home entertainment release. Plus, several behind-the-scenes featurettes will be available to find out what it took to bring the iconic hero’s origin story to life, and of course what would a home release be without a plethora of deleted scenes not shown in theaters?

To whet your appetite, we have got a clip to share of one of those special features below. In the “Deadly Ensemble” feature, fans will get in-depth profiles of the Joes and Cobra who make up the film, featuring talking head segments with the actors, producers, and ARAH creator Larry Hama! This sneak peek focuses on what it took to bring Samara Weaving’s take on Scarlett to life:

Digital, 4K, and Blu-ray bonus content will include:

Snake Eyes will also be bundled in a special 4K three-pack alongside G.I. Joe: Rise of Cobra and G.I. Joe: Retaliation. Also available when the movie hits physical media in October will be this amazing collectible steelbook featuring a close up of the ninja commando himself.

I’ve already got my steelbook pre-ordered from Amazon. So don’t hesitate to own the film now on demand and on 4K Ultra HD, Blu-ray, and DVD on October 19!
