Pixar’s ‘Elemental’ Experience Goes on a Mall Tour

Pixar’s Elemental is set to hit theaters soon, and to help celebrate, Disney is launching a one-of-a-kind immersive experience that invites fans to dive into a world that only the studio can create. The exciting multi-city mall tour, which starts in New York and goes across the country before ending in San Fransisco, offers an immersive thematic environment for visitors of all ages. This means guests will feel the elements of Fire, Water, Wind, and Earth in fun and interactive ways.

Sponsored by Fandango, Dolby, and I’m the Chef Too, the tour features fun film-themed activities like photo and video opportunities, a chance to draw with Pixar artists, a movie-ticket grab in a wind tunnel, plus giveaways and special film content. 

FIRE AND WATER – Set in a city where fire-, water-, land-, and air-residents live together, Disney and Pixar’s “Elemental” introduces Ember, a tough, quick-witted and fiery young woman whose friendship with a fun, sappy, go-with-the-flow guy named Wade challenges her beliefs about the world they live in. The Elemental Experience begins on Friday, May 19, in New York City’s Brookfield Place through May 21. It then hits Chicago (May 26-28), Dallas (June 2-4), Los Angeles (June 10-12), and San Francisco (June 16-18).

Featuring the voices of Leah Lewis as the firey Ember, and Mamoudou Athie as the go with the flow watery Wade, Elemental tells the story of two unlikely anthropomorphic elements of nature who cannot touch each other but discover that they have a lot in common. The film also features the voices of Ronnie del Carmen, Shila Ommi, Wendi McLendon-Covey, Catherine O’Hara, Mason Wertheimer, Joe Pera, and Matt Yang King.

Directed by Peter Sohn, using a script written by John Hoberg, Kat Likkel, and Brenda Hsueh, Elemental opens in theaters on June 16, 2023.
