Trailer for ‘The Fall of the House of Usher’ Announces October Release

Flanagan-Fans (Flana-fans?) Assemble! The master of horror behind The Haunting of Hill House, The Haunting of Bly Manor, Midnight Mass, and Doctor Sleep is back! And this time, he’s bringing us a tale of Poe (Get it? Because it sounds like “woe”… Nevermind).

Flanagan’s reimagining of The Fall of the House of Usher, one of the greatest works from Edgar Allan Poe, is hitting Netflix on October 12. And the trailer for the soon-to-be horror masterpiece has just dropped!

In all honesty Poe has always been one of my favorite authors. And I’m not joking when I say The Fall of the House of Usher is one of my favorite stories from the legendary author. So when I heard one of my favorite filmmakers was going to be adapting it, with many of his wonderful cast members from his previous works, plus Luke Skywalker? It was an automatic “hell yes!” for me.

Here’s the first look at the trailer for the insane upcoming limited series:

It looks creepy. And dark. With a wicked sense of humor, and a stellar performance from Carla Gugino.

In other words, another Flanagan classic!
