A new film from Shyamalan is coming. No, not M. Night Shyamalan, although he’s producing. But the feature film directorial debut of his daughter Ishana Night Shyamalan! Coming this summer — The Watchers!
The Watchers, based on the novel by A.M. Shine, tells the eerie story of a woman named Mina who finds herself stranded in the woods somewhere in Ireland. And becomes seemingly trapped alongside three other strangers who are all being watched by mysterious creatures every night.
Sounds absolutely spine-tingling! Shyamalan, who wrote and directed episodes of her father’s Apple TV+ series, Servant, wrote and directed this adaptation as well. And admittedly, it looks quite creepy!
The Watchers stars Dakota Fanning and Georgina Campbell, and hits theaters this summer on June 7!
