If there’s something we can all agree on, it’s that Ryan Coogler has never made a bad film. He’s literally one of the finest filmmakers working today. And I don’t care what anyone says, Wakanda Forever was an absolute masterpiece especially given the emotional challenges and literal showstoppers he and the entire cast and crew had to face.
So hearing that his next movie will be a vampire film with Michael B. Jordan and Hailee Steinfeld literally puts that near the top of my anticipated list for 2025! And we just got word that tomorrow we’re getting a trailer!
Today, Warner Bros. has dropped the first announcement/tease for the movie, and it is gushing red! All this to set us up for a bloody good time when the trailer hits tomorrow. But don’t take my word for it, check it out here:
While much is being kept under wraps, we have heard that the film will be set in the Jim Crow-era Deep South of the US, and, in addition to vampires, will also involve various other supernatural mythological aspects.
That said, you had me at Coogler! (While he’s at it, maybe he should just do Blade)
