Who needs Halloween when you can go to Los Angeles Comic Con for three days in a row and indulge in all the spoopy cosplay goodness surrounded by all the fandoms you know and love? There’s no place like Los Angeles Comic Con (formerly and fondly remembered as Comikaze, may you rest in pieces) during this time of year where people converge to bring out their best to help end the year of conventions. Come join LACC as it celebrates its 8th anniversary!
Curious as to what there is to check out at this ever expanding convention? Here are some highlights that may pique your interest!
What: Le Geek So Chic Fashion Show
When: Friday, October 26 at 4PM
Where: Main Stage
Le Geek So Chic is pleased to return to the Los Angeles Comic Con Mainstage bringing you the latest and greatest nerd fashion. Our show stopping event celebrates various fashion styles for multitudinous fandoms all while proudly promoting body positivity. Any size, any age, any ethnicity, any gender; everyone who is a geek can be a model. With designers from all over the country, and sometimes abroad, we showcase diverse collections from everyday casual wear to haute couture.
What: Tenacious D presents Post-Apocalypto
When: Friday, October 26 at 7PM
Where: Main Stage
Tenacious D, comprised of Jack Black and Kyle Gass, will be taking to the main stage for a 45 minute Q&A moderated by Colin Hanks — AND they’ll be showing clips of the series along with a fun “character analysis” segment. Directly afterward, there will be a screening of Tenacious D in Post-Apocalypto!
What: SYFY: Deadly Class Premiere Screening
When: Saturday, October 27th at 11:45PM
Where: Screening Room 411
Be among the first to see the premiere episode of the highly anticipated new SYFY series, Deadly Class, based on the hit graphic novel by Rick Remender and Wes Craig. Executive produced by the Russo Brothers (Avengers: Infinity War), Deadly Class follows the story of Marcus, a teen living on the streets who is recruited into Kings Dominion, an elite private academy where the world’s top crime families send their next generations to learn the deadly arts. Deadly Class premieres January 16 on SYFY.
What: Cosplay National Championship

The best and brightest in the cosplay world battle head-to-head for cash and prizes, before a tough panel of judges.
What: Power Rangers 25th Anniversary
When: Sunday, October 28 at 11AM
Where: Main Stage
It’s Morphin Time! The original Power Rangers reunite to share stories from their time saving the world, and how the fandom has grown over the past 25 years.
What: Overwatch
When: Sunday, October 28 at 11:30AM
Where: Main Stage
One of the most popular games in the world to play or stream, Overwatch has cemented itself in the halls of multiplayer greatness. Join the cast of some of your favorite characters as they divulge some of their favorite stories from working on this Blizzard phenomenon.
