‘The Ministry of Ungentlemanly Warfare’ Hops Aboard the HMS Belfast

We’re less than a month away from the release of Guy Ritchie’s latest star-studded action ensemble, The Ministry of Ungentlemanly Warfare. And to commemorate the upcoming release, Ritchie and the all-star cast paid a visit to the historic WWII navy vessel and museum, the HMS Belfast!

The HMS Belfast is one of the largest and most powerful light cruisers ever built, and one of the last of its kind. It played a part in some of the most historic battles during World War II, including Operation Overlord in Normandy during D-Day. While it’s mostly used as a museum these days, it also served as an integral shooting location for The Ministry of Ungentlemanly Warfare, proving the old vessel still has a lot of life and love left to offer!

Last week, the cast and filmmakers assembled to pay tribute to their set and legendary vessel, with a quick photocall that included stars Henry Cavill, Eiza González, Alex Pettyfer, Hero Fiennes Tiffin, Babs Olusanmokun, Henry Golding, and Cary Elwes, as well as director, Ritchie, and producer Jerry Bruckheimer.

Take a look at the gallery from the amazing photoshoot right here:

The Ministry of Ungentlemanly Warfare tells the story of the first special forces organization formed during WWII by UK Prime Minister Winston Churchill. Essentially like a British version of the A-Team, the motley crew of rogues and rebels were known for getting the job done in the most unconventional, bat-crap crazy ways! Little did history know how much of an incredible impact these ragtag badasses would make on the course of the war and the future of modern Black Ops warfare.

With this insanely talented cast coupled with the Ritchie’s energy and style, I have a feeling this is going to be an awesome movie!

The Ministry of Ungentlemanly Warfare hits theaters April 19!
