Harry Gregson-Williams Scores in the New Music Featurette for ‘Gladiator II’

How do you capture the spirit of ancient Rome? Through gorgeously composed music, of course! This was something Hans Zimmer knew very well putting together the original score for Gladiator back in 2000. Now, following in the footsteps of Zimmer comes composer Harry Gregson-Williams.

For those who follow film scores, Gregson-Williams is a legend in his own right, having composed classic soundtracks for films like Shrek, and several collaborations with Sir Ridley Scott as well, from Prometheus, to The Martian, all the way up to House of Gucci. And now, the duo is teaming up once more to bring you a legacy sequel to one of the greatest films of the ’00s, Gladiator II.

Today, Paramount released a brand new featurette about the score for the upcoming historical epic! Check it out here:

You can hear Gregson-Williams’ full score when you see Gladiator II, in theaters November 22! And stay tuned to The Nerds of Color for more coverage of Gladiator II!
