Wands at the ready! Universal Destinations & Experiences has just announced the return of Butterbeer Season at the Hollywood, Orlando, Beijing, and Japan Universal Parks.
This spring, theme park guests can enjoy new and return offerings that celebrate the Harry Potter series within The Wizarding World of Harry Potter. Universal Orlando Resort, Universal Studios Hollywood, and Universal Beijing Resort guests can enjoy the Harry Potter-themed festivities from March 1 through May 31, while Universal Japan Resort guests can enjoy them from April 1 through May 17. Universal Studios Hollywood and Universal Orlando Resort
Fans will be thrilled to learn that the Butterbeer cream puff will be returning this year. Both locations will debut the all-new Butterbeer Waffle for a limited time. Both resorts will also offer newly themed merch like Spirit Jerseys and bucket hats available for purchase.
Universal Orlando Resort will offer brand new treats including the Butterbeer Cupcake, Butterbeer Cookie Sandwich, Butterbeer Candy Apple, and Butterbeer Shortbread Bar, which can be found at Honeydukes in Hogsmeade and Sugarplum’s Sweet Shop in Diagon Alley. It will also offer the Biéraubeurre (“Butterbeer” in French) Crème Brûlée (at Café L’air de la Siréne) and Butterbeer-flavored truffles and macarons (at the K. Rammelle confectionary shop), both located within Epic Universe’s Ministry of Magic.
Universal Beijing Resort
Brand new this year, guests will find the “specialty Butterbeer Cream Puff for a limited time to get in the spirit of Butterbeer Season” within Hogsmeade in The Wizarding World of Harry Potter. In addition to new merch, the park will also have “a limited-edition, collectible Harry Potter 25 Years of Magic Butterbeer Stein.”
Universal Studios Japan
The Butterbeer Cream Puff makes its Universal Studios Japan debut this year. In addition, guests will be able to enjoy Butterbeer‑themed merch found at Filch’s Emporium of Confiscated Goods.
