Hotel Transylvania: Transformania stars Selena Gomez, Andy Samberg, Kathryn Hahn, Keegan-Michael Key, Steve Buscemi, David Spade, Brian Hull, Asher Blinkoff, Brad Abrell, Fran Drescher, Jim Gaffigan, and Molly Shannon. Franchise creator Genndy Tartakovsky also returns as screenwriter and executive producer. The new movie will serve as the final chapter of the popular franchise and will hit theaters on July 23.

Watch the Official Trailer for ‘Hotel Transylvania: Transformania’

Hotel Transylvania: Transformania will be the final chapter of the popular Sony Pictures Animation franchise and premiere in theaters on July 23. Franchise creator Genndy Tartakovsky returns as screenwriter and executive producer, alongside Michelle Murdocca and Selena Gomez. The film is produced by Alice Dewey Goldstone and directed by Jennifer Kluska and Derek Drymon.

Who is Marvel’s Blaxploitation Luke Cage Comic Even For, Exactly?

Recently, Marvel sent out a press release teasing Cage –  an upcoming Luke Cage solo comic to be written and illustrated by Genndy Tartakovsky with inks by Stephen DeStefano.

The series, Marvel explains, takes places in late ’70s New York City where the “shoes are big, bottoms are belled and crime is rampant!”

Apparently Tartakovsky’s Cage is meant to be a send-up(?) of the era’s wave of Blaxploitation, which wouldn’t be so much of a problem were it not for the decidedly problematic art style the book it set to have:
