The new terror anthology series, Them, will premiere Friday, April 9 exclusively on Prime Video. From creator Little Marvin and executive producer Lena Waithe, Them is a limited anthology series that explores terror in America. The first season centers on a Black family in the 1950s who moves from North Carolina to an all-white Los Angeles neighborhood during the period known as The Great Migration. The family’s idyllic home becomes ground zero where malevolent forces, next-door and otherworldly, threaten to taunt, ravage and destroy them. Them stars Deborah AyorindeAshley ThomasAlison PillShahadi Wright JosephMelody Hurd, and Ryan Kwanten.

I had the opportunity to speak with the creator of the series, Little Marvin, to find out about what inspirations led to the creation of Them, as well as with several of the cast about their experiences on set, the overall themes of the anthology and what they hope audiences walk away with. You can find the interviews in full below.

  1. The movie Them was entertaining. Being that the movie was centered around racism and discrimination we face that through our lives. In the movie I like that the family was not going to let the enemy win.
