It’s been a wonderful four-year journey, Brellies. But all good things must come to an end, and we’ll be tearfully saying goodbye to the Hargreeves family when the fourth and final season of The Umbrella Academy hits. And today we have the official date for the final chapter of the weirdest and most wonderful superhero series on Netflix!

If you’re like me, you’ve been with this show since the very first episode hit five years ago on February 15, 2019. And instantly you were charmed by the trials and tribulations of this broken family, who found one another again amidst the tragedies that have befallen them. We’ve even been so fortunate to chat with many of the cast members in previous seasons. And now, on the anniversary of that first season premiering, Netflix is announcing that the final season of the series will be debuting on August 8, 2024.

While it’ll be difficult to let Luther, Diego, Allison, Klaus, Five, Ben, Victor, and Lila go, Netflix has at least treated us to a final series of character posters, giving us our first glimpse of the characters this season, before they march off into the sunset. Whatever happens, and whatever the future holds for the Hargreeves, as well as the amazing cast that brought them to life, the journey isn’t over just yet. And we can’t wait to see what’s in store for the final ride!
