Conversing of Fear and Face-Huggers with ‘Alien: Romulus’ Star Aileen Wu

I’ve had the most fortunate pleasure of speaking with the amazing cast members of this year’s sci-fi blockbuster hit, Alien: Romulus throughout the year. In fact, I’ll never forget my first interview with them at San Diego Comic Con this past July! The only regret I had, was not being able to speak with the terrific Aileen Wu, who plays the tragic Navarro, since she wasn’t able to make it to San Diego.

Thankfully, the universe gave us one more shot, just in time for the film’s Digital and 4K release. We were given the opportunity to sit down with Wu to discuss (as the title might suggest) face-huggers and fear!

Navarro’s appearance in the film may be briefer than those of the other characters. However, it’s incredibly vital for a number of reasons. First off, in a genre and a franchise so devoid of Asian representation, Wu’s casting and character matter. And second, it sets the tone of the film, as the events surrounding the character and her ultimate fate establish the film as a true Alien movie.

And we were so fortunate to dive into all of this with Wu in the interview below:

Alien: Romulus is now officially out on Digital, Hulu, and 4K!
